The tour begins at 7:15. Meet with our local guide at front entrance of the Opera House and transfer by taxi to Tao Dan Park that is considered one of the favorite destinations for both locals looking for relaxation, exercising and enjoying the fresh air in the heart of Saigon.
On the way, we stop at a unique cafe where bird-lovers come to show off their feathered friends then take a walk straight to Banana Market, rubbing elbows with the locals as they bargain for goods and sampling local snacks.
Next, we stroll deeply inside the local resident through small aleys where we can see a trully Saigon life. Stop for an included refreshment break in a the coffee shop, located in an aging apartment block that was built in 1968. While sipping a cup of Vietnamese coffee or a cool drink, enjoy the view of Saigon in a simple and rustic way.
We conclude the tour at the flower Ho Thi Ky market that was established in 1987, which is the largest wholesale market for fresh flowers in Saigon, becoming a famous and attractive destination for Saigoners.
Note: The meeting point is at the front entrance of the Opera house. We highly recommend start at the tour at 7:15 Am with the cool weather and walking route covers approximately 4 km, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes for a pleasant stroll.
