To fully experience the food tour in Ho Chi Minh City, there are two ways to try: riding a scooter and tasting the local cuisine. This food tour will give you those experiences. Our tour takes you through five districts, tasting the most famous street food on the way.
At first, the Vespa takes us through District 1, going to the local park and sitting on the sidewalk to taste beef jerky with green papaya salad and fresh summer spring rolls here. We will see how Saigoners really love this papaya salad.
Then we keep going to Binh Thanh district, strolling around the residential market, tasting the seafood and beer at a local street restaurant where you won’t see any tourists.
We ride back to the bustling streets full of light in Saigon, crossing two long bridges and passing along the French architecture quarter. Next we keep going through the alley area in district 3 and also immerse ourselves in the aromas of street food in there, stop at some famous street food vendors, and try some of them.
The last spot, we could see by little walking through the flower market before riding back to the hotel. The Vespa route will not go too much on crowded roads during traffic jams; we will go on less crowded roads or go into alleys to help you have the most comfortable feeling when sitting on the vehicle with a backrest behind.
