Street Food Everning

The tour begins at 5:30; our local street food guide will pick you up from your hotel by taxi. Leaving the tourist hotspots behind, you’ll embark on a culinary adventure to a hidden alley food district in districts 3 and 10.

At first, we will savour “Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” which are delicious rice pancakes from Central and Saigon, served with an abundance of fresh Vietnamese herbs and vegetables.

Your culinary journey continues as you explore the hidden food alleys in district 3. Here, you’ll savour “Bot Chien,” crispy pan-fried rice cakes with eggs and spring onions expertly prepared by a local chef with over 25 years of experience. You’ll also enjoy a sweet sugar cane juice, perfectly blended with a touch of lemon.

Then, stroll into the heart of District 3 and explore the old Nguyen Thien Thuat apartment, which is a hidden gem home to dozens of renowned Saigon street food spots that will surely entice your taste buds.

On the corner of the alley, you will sit like the locals and get munching, crunching, sipping, and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, don’t worry—it can be swapped for delicious BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon Special beer or soft drinks and mineral water.

The next spot is barbecue vendors to taste the best “bo la lot” (beef in wild betel leaves). That is one of the favourites of Saigoneer for snacks. Cap off our Saigon street food strolling at the colourful night flower market, where you’ll enjoy a delightful dessert from coconut ice cream, longan ice cream, or flan cake with caramel and coffee.
